Tour the villages in South Limburg

From your starting point, you quickly cycle to the pleasant village of Mheer, once voted one of the ten most beautiful villages in the Netherlands. For example, you will see the seventeenth-century Sint-Lambertus church, with the fourteenth-century Mheer Castle behind it. Then you continue to Banholt and Groenendaal, a large nineteenth-century farm that was once a castle. You cycle past the Neuburgermolen and the idyllically situated Neuburg castle. The history of the castle goes back to the fourteenth century at least. Via Simpelveld you cycle to Vijlen, a village high up near the Vijlenerberg. You cross the Geuldal, one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Netherlands. Stop off in Noorbeek at Eetcafe Tinus! Then you cycle through the Voerstreek and along the Eijsdenerbos back to the start.
