Eetcafe De Droadnagel is located in the characteristic Salland village of Haarle, on the edge of National Park De Sallandse Heuvelrug. On the other side of the village you can see the white tower of Palthe on the Landgoed Sprengenberg protruding above the treetops. The Sprengenberg is an estate of over 900 hectares with rolling heaths with panoramic views, beautiful avenues, semi-natural forests with Scottish Highlanders and a rich and varied natural life. It is part of the national park. In the middle of this area is the famous Palthetoren, built in 1903 by mr. AAW van Wulfften Palthe. The estate and surrounding forest and heathland served as a location for the war film “A bridge too far”. A special discovery on the Sallandse Heuvelrug! You walk back through the woods.
