Dolmen route Steenbergen and esdorp Langelo

Camping Ronostrand is the base for this cycle route. The campsite is located in America, a hamlet consisting of several scattered farms. They are all on one and the same winding road: America. From here you cycle to the village of Langelo, via the Langelosche Stukken aan de Aa or Groote Diep. The village is located in the Norger esdorpen landscape, a vast nature reserve. Thanks to the mosaic of forests, rolling fields, ash trees and Saxon farms, you can experience the unique combination of Drenthe's nature and cultural history. You cross the Oostervoortsche Diep and drive towards Steenbergen. You will find Hunebed D1 near cycling junction 71. It is a large and almost complete dolmen in the Noorderduinen. It is located near the town of Steenbergen, which owes its name to this 'mountain of stones'.
