Description
(Personal) Route that starts at Rotterdam Alexander Train Station. The first part goes via Oosterflank residential area to the beautiful Schollebos and via Hitland-Zuid to the Hollandse IJssel. Along the IJssel you will be guided through a number of places to Gouda, you can decide for yourself whether you want to visit Gouda. I cross the IJssel just before Gouda to end up on the other side of the IJssel. If you find the cars along the dike disturbing, a route through the polders is possible. This is one of my personal training routes on a sports bike, the time is based on 25 km/h.
