Ommetje Ootmarsum and the Kuiperberg

Your walking route starts at Bed and Breakfast Erve Höwerboer. From here you walk to the Kuiperberg, where you have a beautiful view. Next to the Jewish cemetery and the water tower you will find a historical orientation table, a national monument. You used to be able to see large parts of Twente and the German border area from here, but trees increasingly disrupted the view. Then you walk back into Ootmarsum. The center has managed to preserve many of its historic buildings, what a nice atmosphere! At the Educatorium Ootmarsum you can learn more about education from the past.
