You cycle through the Montferland, a region that offers you a lot of nature, variety and history. You ride through the Bergherbos and through the beautiful town of 's-Heerenberg.
Old watermill
In Beek you pass the Sint-Martinus church, the fifteenth century tower is built in the Lower Rhine style. Then you cross the border with Germany and drive into the rolling forests.
House Bergh
In 's-Heerenberg you drive through the picturesque old city center. You see the Boetselaersborg, a country house from 1550. Huis Bergh is a water castle from the thirteenth century. You can admire a beautiful museum collection there. The magnificent town hall dates from the sixteenth century. In the countryside you mainly drive between large meadows and fields. From Zeddam you drive into the Bergherbos. What silence!
