Zeeuws-Vlaanderen at its best

In Zeeuws-Vlaanderen you can take a beautiful bike ride through the vast polder land. There are a number of picturesque towns on your route, such as IJzendijke, Aardenburg and Sluis.

IJzendijke
You pass Mobiele Fietsservice, a mobile workshop that repairs your broken bicycle on-site in West Zeeuws Flanders. You drive on car-free roads through the Zeeland-Flemish landscape of vast grasslands and creeks. IJzendijke is the first village on your route. You can visit Museum Het Bolwerk at the beautiful old Market. You will learn more about the State-Spanish lines here.

Lock
Picturesque Aardenburg is the oldest town in Zeeland. Here you will see, among other things, the thirteenth-century St. Bavo Church. A little further on you drive through medieval Sluis. Take the time to view this beautiful fortified town. The biggest eye-catcher is the fourteenth-century town hall, the only belfry in the Netherlands. Here you will also see De Brak, a flour mill from 1739. Grain was also ground in the Zuidzandse Molen, this building dates from 1874. Finally, you drive through charming Groede.
