Tour of Werkhoven, Goy and Houten

The Kromme Rijn region is ideal for a bike ride. Here you drive past vast grasslands and fruit orchards. Ideal for getting a breath of fresh air and clearing your head. On the horizon you see the Rijn and Weert, a flour mill from 1882. In picturesque Westerhove you can enjoy the historic atmosphere. On the Brink you can see, among other things, the Sint-Stevenskerk, whose tower was built around 1300. Further on you pass Bij Ons In't Goy. Here you can enjoy a leisurely refreshment before cycling along a leafy cycle path through Houten. You will also pass through Nieuw Wulven, a nature reserve created in 2000. Finally, you cycle past the replica of a Roman watchtower. The route ends at the TOP at the Fort near Vechten.
