Art in Hof van Twente

The route starts in the charming fortified town of Delden . The former station building houses the Art Station , here you can see constantly changing works of art that you see as if through a viewing box. You will also find beautiful galleries and shops in the old center that are open (almost) every day. Along the way you will pass the Twickel Estate with beautiful sights including the castle. 

The route takes you through the Twente landscape to the studio of Jan Broeze . Broeze was an enthusiastic painter and is known for his brilliant sense of color. The hamlet of Elsenerbroek, where he lived and worked, is a real pleasure! If the studio door is open, you can take a look inside. The route then takes you via the rural area of Markelo to Diepenheim . 

Diepenheim is the breeding ground for artists and theater makers. In 2014 , Herberg de Pol opened with KunstWerk Diepenheim and the nearby Drawing Center , a location for world-class drawing art. There are also numerous galleries located in the center. 

The route takes you via Landgoed Weldam , the Twentekanaal and Bentelo http back to Delden .
