Description
Start: there are several catering establishments at the station, but one of the nicest is just behind the church: Monida (open again from September 6, 2014: every day except Thursday and Friday)
Between start and KP25 Nature Education Center De Vroente containing the Beekeeping Museum.

Between KP80 and KP89: Kalmthout heath and fens.
KP14: statue of the Virgin of the Poor.
FP23: College of the Eucharistic Heart in an old monastery.
Between KP58 and KP70: The Bakkersmolen with its own farm and steam museum. This is the nicest restaurant along the route, and serves delicious home-baked gingerbread.
Between FP7 and FP4: former peat cutting area now a favorite with birds.
FP3: Napoleon farm, the French general is said to have stayed here.
Between KP69 and KP41 the Canal from Dessel to Schoten via Turnhout with various locks.
Between KP37 and KP38 a real Belgian café at the crossing at the Ploegsebaan + anti-tank ditch from WWII.
