Tour of Linde and Kraaijenbergse Plassen

Your walking route starts at EuroParcs De Kraaijenbergse Plassen, from here you take a beautiful tour along the water of the Kraaijenbergse Plassen, which together form an area of more than 400 hectares. They were created around 1968 by the extraction of industrial sand, gravel and clay. Parts of the lakes are used for sailing, surfing, swimming or fishing, but you will also find a newly designed nature reserve that serves as a resting area for aquatic animals. Jagged banks are home to various water birds, including coots, shelducks, bluethroats and sand martins. Looking out over the water, you will experience a wonderful holiday feeling as you enjoy the tranquility of nature and the activity of water sports. You also walk through the village of Linden, which is almost completely surrounded by water.
