Bicycle route Nunspeet, Doornspijk and Elspeet

From Elspeet, you will experience a varied day of cycling with this beautiful route to Nunspeet and the Gelderse Vallei. The first few kilometers take you through the vast natural landscape of the Veluwe. This means enjoying forests, heathlands, and tranquility. You will also pass through Nunspeet, a village where various artists settled at the end of the nineteenth century to capture rural life. A beautiful landscape of meadows, hedgerows, and old farmhouses still surrounds the village today. Just before junction 1, you have a lovely view of the Veluwemeer. The name of the road you are riding on, the Oude Zeeweg, still carries the memory of the former Zuiderzee. Via Doornspijk, you cycle back to the Veluwe. The route ends at Hotel & Inn Herberg De Zwaan Elspeet.
