Description
Nigtevecht also has a historical atmosphere. The winding Gein leads you to Abcoude, another village full of beautiful old buildings. In Baambrugge it seems as if you have cycled back in time. From Baambrugge you cycle along the meandering river Angstel to Loenersloot. Along this part of the route there is one monumental building after another, varying from thatched farms and churches to the thirteenth-century Loenersloot Castle. In between you look out over a wide Dutch polder landscape.
