Description
This wetland area of Friesland has more to offer than just water. This route shows you beautiful nature reserves, gardens and views over the countryside. Along the way there are several places where you can get off to enjoy the surroundings or a snack!!
The start is at VVV Waterland van Friesland in Joure, but you can also start at VVV Waterland van Friesland in Lemmer 51 or in Oudemirdum at the VVV agency Mar & Klif 22. The route is 63.5 km, a great trip for 1 day, but it is also possible to do it in 2 days.
