From here you drive through the beautiful hamlets of Woold, Brinkheurne, Ratum, Huppel and Henxel. Here you will be introduced to a beach, old railway, the geological wonder of the Winterswijk quarry, a vineyard with award-winning Achterhoek wines and a beautiful mill. In short: a nice introduction to unique Winterswijk icons. Get off the bike to explore the cozy Winterswijk and enjoy a drink on a terrace. At the market you will see the Jacobskerk, a Gothic building whose nave dates from 1300. The Jacobuskerk dates from 1869.
