Vlaardingen is a port city on the Nieuwe Maas with several ports. There are still many monumental buildings on the Westhavenkade and Oosthavenkade. Historic ships and pleasure craft are moored in the Oude Haven and on the cozy terraces at the Westhavenplaats you have a beautiful view of the many boats.
Dijkpolderpad
The Dijkpolderpad is a historic church path of about 2 kilometers long. This path used to be used mainly on Sundays as the shortest way to go to church. Nowadays you can walk among the cows and enjoy the beautiful peat meadow area of Midden-Delfland. The Dijkpolderpad starts at the Molenweide in Maasland.

Enjoy the good life in Cittaslow Midden-Delfland. At Hoeve Bouwlust you can taste traditional farm ice cream and at Zuivelboerderij Van Winden you can buy delicious farm cheese (Tuesday and Friday afternoon, Saturday). Along the way you will also come across many catering establishments where you can taste the regional products of Midden-Delfland.

Museum De Schilpen
Museum De Schilpen has a lively grocery shop, where sweets and trinkets from grandmother's time are for sale. In the museum you can see various period rooms from around 1900. The book corner offers a lot of information about the region. The museum is located on a historic shell square in Maasland.
