This route takes you past the three icons of the Dutch Water Triangle: World Heritage Kinderdijk, National Park De Biesbosch and Holland's oldest city Dordrecht. The largest part of the route takes you past windmills, vast green meadows, grazing cows and beautiful canals and ditches overgrown with reeds and bulrushes. The Waterbus forms the connecting link across the rivers. Your bike is free! You start the route in Alblasserdam. Along the Donkse Laaagten you cycle through small towns to Dordrecht. The route takes you past nice places to learn more about this region, such as Biesboschcentrum Dordrecht. From the nice town of Dordrecht you take the waterbus back to Alblasserdam at the end of the route. Be sure to get off at Bevazet and La Paloma Blanca!
