FOLLOW THE SIGNS AND INSTRUCTIONS ON THE ASVALT WITH THE NAME'MMR\\\'OF MAARE MOSEL ROUTE. The map is only an indication of the route.
The cycle path offers the easiest connection from the Volcanic Eifel to the Moselle as it runs entirely on the former railway line from Daun to Wittlich or Lieser.
It is the ideal and comfortable route to get to know the Volcanic Eifel, alternately over viaducts, bridges and through tunnels. The RegioRadler"Maare-Mosel-Bus\\\" is ready for the return transport from the Moselle!
Booking a few days in advance is definitely recommended!
Regarding the use of the bus:
Book and pay on https://www.radbusse.de/pages/de_de/start.php . Think of your random reader or what you need to pay online.
If you start the route in Daun, you go slightly downhill. If available, it is better to do the route by bus in the morning, because at the end of the cycling day it is actually not fun to have to wait for the bus and still have to make the winding road (with a mask on) .
So take the bus (from eg Wittlich ZOB or Bernkastel Kues Forum) to Daun Bahnhofstrasse, which is a few hundred meters from the starting point. This way you can go straight to the car at the end of your bike tour.
