Diemelradweg

This cycle route, marked with ammonites ( fossils of an extinct group of squids) , runs from the Diemel spring at an altitude of 660 m near Willingen through the idyllic Diemelsee nature park to the mouth of the Weser at Bad Karlshafen.

The easily accessible and well-developed cycle path leads from the heights of the Waldecker highland over the Diemelsee nature park, through gently sloping low mountain ranges to the Reinhardswald.

For the varied natural landscape, the friendly half-timbered villages and the pretty little towns, you should take your time, because there is a lot to discover!
