Tour of Landgoed de Horte and Mataram

Your walking route starts at Café Restaurant de Mol. From here you walk to the De Horte estate, laid out in the early 17th century in a predominantly French style. You can enjoy the symmetry in the hedges, orchard, grape greenhouses and the Sequoiadendron sequoia. Winding paths provide surprising vistas. In addition to the country house, you will also find a gardener's house, farm'De Horteboer\\\' and the former billiard room'het Witte huis\\\'. After a visit to the town with the exciting name Mataram, you walk back to your starting point on the estate. Mataram estate owes its name to the first owner, JM van Rhijn, former resident at the court of the sultan of Mataram.
