From Zeist you can drive straight into the Kromme Rijnstreek, a low-lying region at the foot of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Here you cycle along grasslands and orchards. There are many old country estates in the Langbroek area, such as Kasteel Sterkenburg. Some country houses initially consisted only of a fortified residential tower and were only later embellished. From afar you can already see the church tower of Cothen. The area around the ancient Rhijnestein Castle is a protected village view. You also pass Oog in't Zeil, a flour mill from 1869. Via Werkhoven and Bunnik you drive to Slot Zeist. This pleasure resort was built in the seventeenth century by order of Willem Adriaan van Nassau, a grandson of Maurits van Oranje. At Hotel FiGi you can enjoy a coffee on the terrace.
