Description
Your route starts at Uitspanning't Peeske. In the rolling Montferland you cycle past vast meadows full of blooming spring flowers (another name for daisies) and other flowers. Doesn't that make everyone happy? From your starting point you drive into the countryside with its fields and meadows full of flowers. You pass Düffels Möll, a flour mill from 1860. What a wonderfully peaceful cycling experience in this beautiful region! At Zeddam you will pass one of the remaining hail crosses that were traditionally placed in the Montferland. In 's-Heerenberg you can soak up the atmosphere in the old town with its many monuments, before taking a look at Huis Bergh Castle: one of the oldest and largest moated castles in the Netherlands.
