Start at the market in Valkenswaard for a nice bike ride through a real Brabant landscape. Heide, forest, fens and farmlands alternate. On your way you come
regularly a catering facility in the villages of Borkel en Schaft, Heeze and Leende.

In Valkenswaard you can settle down on one of the many terraces or, for example, visit the exhibition in the Steendrukmuseum. The VVV employees are happy to provide you with information about the region and all the possibilities for a pleasant stay in or around Valkenswaard.

Tapperij De Zwaan is located in the center of Heeze, next to the impressive Heeze Castle. Kasteel Heeze


5591HJ Heeze-Leende

During the war, the municipal population register was regularly stored safely in the castle. As a result, it was also preserved when the resistance in a robbery set fire to the town hall of Heeze in September 1943, see also point 25 below. Because Heeze had no town hall at the time, the castle was also used as such for a short time.
