Description
The south of Limburg may often be seen as a tourist hotspot, but the north of this versatile province also has a lot to offer. You start at Parkhotel Horst on the edge of the Kasteelse Bossen. A perfect starting point for your cycling tour through the region. You cycle through wonderful nature reserves and along the way you pass a lot of different sights that are worth taking a break from. You drive through silent forests and the floodplains of the Maas. The route takes you across the Geijsteren estate, which has been in the possession of the same family for more than two centuries. The estate consists mainly of coniferous forests and is intersected by the meandering Oostrumse Beek.
