Leeuwarden: City, culture, water and meadows

Do you want a nice combination of city and countryside? Then cycle this route through rural urban areas and roads through the meadows. You pass through the green lung of Leeuwarden, the Pot Margin area, through the recreation area De Groene Ster and past Vijversburg (state with garden) in Tytsjerk, Staniastate in Oenkerk (state with garden) and finally you take a beautiful tour through the meadows and along the Dokkumer Ee. After approximately 35 kilometers of relaxing cycling you will return to the starting point of this route, the Leeuwarden tourist office.
