Tour of Giessenburg, Linge and Leerdam

Your route starts at De Houtloods Leerdam. You cycle along the Linge to Giessenburg. Cycle through the polders of the flat South Holland and discover how beautiful cultivated land can be. In the Alblasserwaard, many waterways cross the vast fields and many polder mills adorn the landscape, while on the horizon you can see the church towers that rise above small villages. Between the villages, located in the vast polder landscapes, you will still find small pieces of untouched nature. A wonderful cycling area! The Goudriaanse mill is proudly displayed on the Molenkade of the Smoutjesvliet in Goudriaan. This polder mill was built in 1779 to drain the Oud-Goudriaan polder. It replaced another hollow post mill that stood here before. Because the mill is inhabited, it cannot be visited.
