Tour of Giessenburg, Linge and Leerdam

Your route starts at De Houtloods Leerdam. You drive along the Linge to Giessenburg. Cycle through the polders of flat South Holland and discover how beautiful cultivated land can be. In the Alblasserwaard, many watercourses cross the vast fields and many polder mills adorn the landscape, while on the horizon you can see the church towers that rise above small villages. Between the villages, located in the vast polder landscapes, you will still find small pieces of unspoilt nature. A wonderful cycling area! The Goudriaanse mill is proudly located on the Molenkade of the Smoutjesvliet in Goudriaan. This polder mill was built in 1779 to drain the Oud-Goudriaan polder. It replaced another see-saw mill that previously stood here. Because the mill is inhabited, it cannot be visited.
