Ready for a day of relaxation? Come cycle in the Biesbosch and the Alblasserwaard. You will find plenty of peace and natural beauty here.
Kievitswaard
You cycle through the polder to cozy Giessenburg, further on you can get off at Museum De Koperen Knop. You can cross the Merwede to Werkendam by boat. Then you drive over the dike through the Kievitswaard. Here you have a beautiful view over an extensive meadow and water storage area, with the Nieuwe Merwede flowing on the right. Just past junction 4 you pass the Wassende Maan. Climb the hill to discover this work of art.
Brandwijk
You cycle a bit through the Brabantse Biesbosch, after which you cross the river to continue enjoying the watery nature in the Hollandse Biesbosch. How wonderfully peaceful it is here! Ideal for leaving the everyday routine behind. In the Alblasserwaard you drive through a vast polder country. You will pass the Oudheidkamer Wijngaarden.
