Tilburg Parks Route along Loonse Drunense Duinen

From here you cycle via a beautiful rural route to the Loonse and Drunense Dunes, through which you drive. In addition to the famous drifting dunes, this national park also has extensive heathlands and quiet forests. The Noorderplas has been renovated considerably, a lot of vegetation has been removed so that the entire former sand extraction lake can be viewed. Two bridges provide a connection to the Noorderbos. Tilburg grew into the most important wool city in Brabant around 1600. In the city you cycle past beautiful historic parks such as the Oude Warande, built in 1712, one of the few well-preserved star forests in the Netherlands.
