From Camping and Camping Farm 't Boerenerf to Pannenkoekenhuis Bergzicht

From Camping en Kampeerboerderij't Boerenerf you can walk through the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park, a gently sloping landscape of heaths and old deciduous and coniferous forests. One time you walk on a winding path, then again you walk through an old stately forest avenue. Around the recreational lake Henschotermeer you mainly walk between the fragrant conifers. The lake originated as a sand excavation: during the mobilization in 1939 and 1940, sand was extracted here for the reinforcement of the Grebbelinie. Nearby you will see Landgoed De Viersprong, in the woods at a four-fork. The country house was built between 1889-1894. In the woods of Landgoed Henschoten you can take a break at Pannenkoekenhuis Bergzicht. Enjoy a snack and drink here, such as a delicious traditional pancake.
