Walking through Valkenburg and the idyllic Geuldal

Get to know the charm of South Limburg with a nice walking tour. This route takes you through Valkenburg and the hilly, wooded area. The climbs are sometimes steep, but then you come to the most beautiful places with beautiful vistas and panoramic views. During most of the route you walk through the idyllic Geuldal. Here you walk past the impressive Schaloen castle. The garden can be visited from the spring months to early autumn. When you return to Valkenburg, you will pass the Old Mill and the Land van Valkenburg Regional Museum. At this museum you will find information about art in South Limburg and Valkenburg history. The end point of the route is Parkhotel Valkenburg. This attractive four-star hotel is the perfect place to recover from your walk.
