Relax in the Dunes and the Meierij

This route takes you from picturesque Giersbergen straight through the Loonse and Drunense Dunes to Loon op Zand, Helvoirt and Cromvoirt. A nice combination of quiet nature reserves and cozy towns. You can cycle for many hours in the Loonse and Drunense Duinen, because the area covers 3,500 hectares. Nowhere in Europe will you find drifting sands on such a large scale! You also cycle through dense deciduous and coniferous forests, stream valleys and heathlands that bloom beautifully in August. Could you use a calm day in nature? Then this route is really something for you. You also pass Zwijnsbergen Castle. On the accompanying estate you can walk on roads and paths, a nice extra for your route. The route ends with a meal at Herberg De Drie Linden.
