This route takes you from picturesque Giersbergen straight through the Loonse and Drunense Dunes to Loon op Zand, Helvoirt, and Cromvoirt. A delightful combination of tranquil nature reserves and charming villages. You can cycle for hours in the Loonse and Drunense Dunes, as the area covers 3,500 hectares. Nowhere else in Europe will you find such extensive drifting sands! You'll also cycle through dense deciduous and coniferous forests, stream valleys, and heathlands that bloom beautifully in August. Could you use a peaceful day in nature? Then this route is perfect for you. You'll also pass Zwijnsbergen Castle. On the estate, you're welcome to walk on the roads and paths, a nice bonus to your route. The route concludes with a meal at Herberg De Drie Linden.
