Explore Mechelen and surroundings

This route takes you through the hills and rushing stream valleys of South Limburg. Here you drive through a picturesque landscape where silent forests and flower-filled meadows adorn the slopes. Along the way you can admire many half-timbered houses, monumental square farms and old mills. This short route gives you plenty of time to get off on top of the hills. To catch your breath, but also to enjoy the beautiful views of an environment where time slows down a bit.

You will visit typical Limburg villages and hamlets such as Margraten, Gulpen and Terlinden. There are plenty of terraces along your route to taste the different types of Limburg pies.
