Enjoy cycling at the Loonse and Drunense Duinen

The Loonse & Drunense Duinen National Park is no less than 3,500 hectares in size. Ideal for exploring at your leisure by bike. The first kilometers you drive through a mix of forest and meadows. You suddenly end up in Giersbergen in the middle of nature. In this beautiful hamlet you will see many monumental thatched farms, so that it seems as if you have taken a leap back in time. Then you drive back into the woods. Take a deep breath and breathe in that nice, fresh forest air. You will pass a number of heathlands and you will also see the drifting sand that gives this national park its nickname of Brabant Sahara. The route ends at the Resting Hunter, where you can enjoy a drink and a snack on the cozy terrace at the edge of the forest.
