Tour of Hellevoetsluis and Heenvliet

This route takes you for a tour around Hellevoetsluis. There is a lot to see in the harbor: you will find a lighthouse from 1822, a corn mill from 1801 and Dry dock Jan Blanken that was built between 1798 and 1822. Be sure to take a look here! You will also find beautiful museum ships on the historic quay that you can visit. A little later you can see the bird-rich Quackgors nature reserve from the dike. Abbenbroek enjoys a protected village view, you can taste a historic atmosphere here. The Sint Aegidius church, for example, dates back to the fourteenth century. Along the banks of the Bernisse, the old estuary that separates Voorne and Putten, you drive back to the starting point via Zuidland. Get off at Markt1 along the way in the beautiful old Heenvliet!
