Description
On the South Holland island of Goeree-Overflakkee it is once again nice to cycle through the polders. You will find plenty of peace, space and old mills here.
Middle harness
In this village you can admire a beautiful old church. You will also pass the Korenaar, a flour mill from 1746. Further on you will pass the Vlieger, a watercourse where you will find a lot of natural beauty around the banks. In Middelharnis you can see the Korenbloem, a building from 1705.
Old-Tonge
In Herkingen you pass, among other things, the Dankbaarheid: a polder mill from 1841. At the Scharloodijk you can see two more beautiful monuments: the seventeenth-century Visbank and the village church from 1788. In Nieuwe-Tonge you pass D\\\'Oranjeboom, a polder mill from 1768. Oude-Tonge is also a nice place to cycle through. Here you will pass another windmill called De Korenbloem: this building dates from 1748.
