This varied route first takes you to Hoorn. Here you'll see many historic buildings that recall the unique history of this old harbor town. Further on, you'll cycle through Blokker, a picturesque village. Here you'll see, among other things, the Barmhartige Samaritaan (Good Samaritan), a monumental farmhouse dating from 1659. You'll pass the Krijgsman (Waistmill), a windmill dating from 1862. The route then takes you through Hoogkarspel, Lutjesbroek, and Grootebroek. In Bovenkarspel, you can enjoy a delicious meal at Hotel Café Restaurant De Halve Maan, after which you can admire an authentic "overhaal" (sailboat) in Broekershaven. In the polder, you'll cycle through several picturesque villages, such as Oosterleek. The Stofmolen (Foster Mill) is a corn mill dating from 1791. The route ends in Schellinkhout, where you can admire the old church and the town hall dating from 1765.
