City on't Haringvliet is a charming village on Goeree-Overflakkee. The hinterland is an ideal cycling area with its wide polders and views over the water.

In this village you can admire a beautiful old church. You will also pass the Korenaar, a beautiful corn mill from 1746. A stone has been incorporated into the hull with information about who founded the mill. You drive through the polder over winding dikes and car-free roads. Get a breath of fresh air while looking out over grasslands and creeks. Now that's relaxing!
Cornflower
From the dike you have a beautiful view of the bird-rich Krammerse Slikken and the Volkerak. The village of Achthuizen was once intended as temporary accommodation for seasonal workers from North Brabant. Many of them stayed, forming a Catholic enclave in a largely Protestant area.
