Description
You will find beautiful outdoor areas under the proverbial smoke of Rotterdam. This route takes you from Bergambacht past Krimpen aan den IJssel and the Krimpenerwaard behind. In this polder landscape you drive between ditches, ditches and canals. It is wonderfully quiet cycling here, also because you hardly drive through the built-up area. Via Krimpen aan de Lek you cycle along the Lek and cross the water with the ferry at Lekkerkerk in the direction of Streefkerk, where you can relax at Café Eeterij't Centrum. Enjoy a nice cup of coffee with lunch and then leave for Bleskensgraaf and Brandwijk. There is no shortage of windmills along the way, which makes this route a typical Dutch bicycle tour!
