Description

One of the oldest polder areas in South Holland is located between Delft, Vlaardingen, Schiedam and the greenhouses of Westland. A surprising discovery for many visitors: in addition to all the hustle and bustle, there is also silence next to the city.

The beautiful and open peat meadow area and the variation in these polders make the area unique. Traditional Dutch villages alternate with vast meadows with grazing cows, quiet nature reserves and versatile recreational areas.

This route takes you along the edges of Midden-Delfland and shows you the diversity of the area in a beautiful way.
