The Hoeksche Waard is easy to explore from the saddle. Here you cycle through a wide landscape of fields and grasslands. Ideal for a breath of fresh air and to clear your head. There is also no shortage of cultural history. In Mijnsheerenland you will pass the Hof van Moerkerken. The history of this court goes back to 1440, the current country house dates from the eighteenth century. Along the Binnenbedijkte Maas you drive to Maasdam where you pass a corn mill and then a polder mill. From the dike you look out over the Sint Anthoniepolder. In the hamlet of the same name, there is still a Romanesque church from 1357! Via Westmaas you drive through the polders again. The route ends with a cozy meal at Brasserie de Greup.
