There is also no shortage of cultural history. In Mijnsheerenland you pass the Hof van Moerkerken. The history of this court dates back to 1440, the current country house dates from the eighteenth century. You drive along the Binnenbedijkte Maas to Maasdam where you pass a flour mill and then a polder mill. From the dike you look out over the Sint Anthoniepolder. In the hamlet of the same name there is a Romanesque church from 1357! You drive through the polders again via Westmaas.
