Description

In the Dorpsstraat you can see the water tower from 1912, a special monument. Opposite the water tower is the sixteenth-century village church. Further on you drive a bit along Park Nieuweland. Just outside Barendrecht you drive through the polder. The Zandweg is a corn mill from 1723. Further on you drive through the picturesque old village center of Charlois, a well-known Rotterdam district. Along the Maas you will experience the refreshing vibe of Rotterdam. You drive over the Erasmus Bridge, on the Kop van Zuid you can see the Rotterdam: three gigantic towers by architect Rem Koolhaas. On the dike near the Maas you pass Huys Ten Donck: a country estate from 1746.
