Tour Zwolle

Rondje Zwolle is characterized by variety: one moment you are walking along winding paths, surrounded by silence and tranquility, while a little later you feel the liveliness of the city again. The route takes you through the water-rich IJssel and Weteringen landscape, while also visiting the characteristic Vechtdal and the Zwarte Water area. The walking route passes beautiful locks, the English Work, the idyllic hamlet of Oldeneel, estates and recreational lakes such as the Wijthmenerplas and the Milligerplas, where you can take a nice refreshing dip in the summer. The route also takes you through the beautiful Vreugderijkerwaard, of which Natuurmonumenten is the proud owner. And rightly so, because this floodplain is very special because of the rare flora on the sand dunes along the river. The inn and the side channel are clearly visible from the dike. You can also register for an excursion with the ranger to experience the area even closer.
