Round fish ladders in the Reggedal

This route takes you from Lorkeers Brood banquet - Lunchroom along the border of Twente and Salland. The most beautiful are the ingenious fish ladders in the meandering Regge. From your starting point you pedal to Lemele, along the Hellendoornse Berg. Afterwards, even more natural beauty emerges in the form of the Koemaste Regge Restoration Area. The Regge can meander here again, as it used to. A plaque reads:'But look, she straightens and dances again as before, the Regge, beautiful woman\\\', referring to the repair work. The river has been canalized since 1900, but in recent years the process has been reversed. That is good for people, animals and nature. The cyclist meanders quietly along the paths. Fish ladders are also part of the restoration project.
