Walking in beautiful North Brabant near Zeeland

Your route starts with a cup of coffee on the beautiful terrace of De Pastorie. You will soon see the Coppens Mill. The belt mill was probably built in 1883. The upper mill replaced a post mill, many parts of which were repurposed into this windmill. Then you take a nice tour through nature. The Reeksche and Schaijkse Heide are nature reserves located between Schaijk, Reek, Velp and Langenboom. The Reeksche Heide has been used mainly as a military training area since 1850. The drifting dunes are ideal bullet catchers. Parts of the area are cordoned off, but where this is not the case, you can enjoy a lovely walk through the coniferous forests. A beautiful rural route through the Brabant countryside leads you back to your starting point.
