Dronten, Flevoland, The Netherlands
Cycling route: 181626
Provided by: route.nl
The town of Dronten, built around 1960, is the base for this route. You will come across a nice stop here: Moellies. Enjoy a nice drink and snack here before cycling into the vast polders. Here you can get a breath of fresh air, ideal if you want to relax for a day. Further on you pass through the Reve-Abbertbos. The Abbert was once a sandbox in the turbulent Zuiderzee, now coniferous and deciduous trees grow here. At junction 45 you pass the Greppelveld, a nature reserve with moist grassland, water and windbreaks. A little later you drive along the edge of Boswachterij Spijk-Bremerberg. Finally you pass through Biddinghuizen. As with other places on Flevoland, this name is also taken from a village that was once swallowed up by the Zuiderzee: Bidningahem.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
