Over the heathlands of the Veluwe

Explore the various heathlands that together (among other things) form the Veluwe. The Harskampse Zand, the Ugchelse Bos, the Hoenderlose Bos and the Otterlose Zand are just a few of the various nature reserves that allow you to enjoy a beautiful bike ride. The sheepfold that you encounter in Hoog Buurlo is special. Two cages are located on the edge of the vast Hoog Buurlose heathland. Time seems to have stood still here; A flock of Veluwe heath sheep still gets a sheltered shelter in the sheepfold at night. The surroundings also contribute to the authentic feeling: surrounded by fields with wild banks and stately beech avenues flanked by oak and beech forests, the hamlet of Hoog Buurlo is a rolling pearl of the Veluwe!
