Did you know that there is often a world of stories behind those silent buildings along the Gelderland rivers? This route takes you past various dike warehouses in the Land van Maas en Waal. This area looks serene, but is full of primal power. Entire villages were once swept away by the river water. At the same time, the Gelderland river clay had the value of gold for the brick industry and for nature.
