Cycling through Raalte and the Salland nature

This route takes you through the Sallandse bocage landscape and through the Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park. Cycling on car-free roads you will see many authentic farms and you have beautiful views over fields and meadows. After a while you drive into the woods. Take a deep breath and enjoy the fresh air. You pass Buitencentrum Sallandse Heuvelrug, here you will learn more about the national park. You will also drive over the vast moorland that forms the heart of this nature reserve. Step off to enjoy the view and the silence. A small population of grouse, threatened with extinction, still lives on the heath. Along the leafy canal you cycle at your leisure to Raalte, a cozy and beautiful place. The route ends at Camping Heino.
