Cycling around Oss

Around Oss you drive through a varied landscape. Forests, rivers and old villages: there is plenty to do here. You will soon pass De Vlijt, a flour mill from 1685. In Lith you will see the Zeldenrust from 1800. This flour mill was partially destroyed by fire in 1902. It reopened in 1977 after a restoration. You cross the Maas and you are welcome at Veerhuis Heerewaarden for a drink and a snack. In the polders between Maas and Waal you drive over dikes past old farms. You cross the Maas again, after which you enjoy the historic atmosphere in Megen. You cycle via Haren and Berghem to the Het Herperduin nature reserve. This beautiful cycling day ends with a meal at Restaurant Clemens.
